Talk about feeling sexy while I was running! Oh. My Gosh. I received my package of BodyRock Sport on Wednesday and was so excited to see two of my favorite things combined: Swarovski Crystals and sports bras! I hurried home from work, quickly put on my Elena Bra, Shauna Tank and Erin Cargo Leggings. That’s how working out should be, right? You should be SO excited to get out there that you race home! If you aren’t feeling like that, I’d suggest a new outfit. It makes you feel like a million bucks!
Let me just say that I run a 10 minute mile, I’m a slow runner. I was so pumped about how good I felt in my new outfit I ran 2 miles in 16 minutes! 8 minute mile splits! HOLY MOSES!
So let’s get into why I felt so great.
The Elena bra is just HOT. Swarovski crystals line the v-neck, leopard print is always amazing, and the mesh on the sides is laced with gold glitter. If you’re a fashionista, you’ll love it! Best part….the bra has an iPod pocket in the back! I always slot my iPhone in the side of my bra, under my underarm, because I feel like it is more comfortable and doesn’t get in my way. I never thought of putting it behind me! LOVE!
Sizing: I wear a 30D regular bra and I got a small which was perfect for running. It acted as a compression bra. If you don’t like compression bras, I would suggest sizing up. You will still get a great fit, but won’t feel compressed.
The Shauna Tank is an oversized hi-lo tank that doesn’t look like workout wear. I even wore both the bra and the Shauna tank to the Atlanta Falcons vs Jacksonville Jaguars game on Thursday! Made of 100% cotton, so it isn’t a performance fabric, but it was great to run in and really cute for the game.
Sizing: I’m wearing a Small in these photos. It is an oversized top which makes it very low cut, but is perfect over a sports bra. If you want it to be REALLY oversized, size up. You won’t lose the effect of the shirt.
The Erin Cargo leggings are so chic! I have been searching everywhere for a pair of cargo workout leggings that aren’t super stiff. These are them! The fabric is similar to that of Nike, definitely a workout fabric, not what some would consider a “yoga” fabric. But you can of course wear them for yoga and you can wear them as regular pants as well! The leggings have a pocket on the waistband for your key, id and small iPod. The leggings also have the “moto knee” which I love.
Sizing: The leggings are a skinny legging, which I did not take into account when I ordered. I have larger legs than the average bear, so my small was a bit too tight through the calf and knee. This is a problem I have with a lot of leggings that have seaming around the knees, I even have issues with knee boots. I have a 13.5″ circumference calf, it’s larger than average. So if you have larger legs, I would suggest sizing up. The waistband has a functional drawstring, so it will always fit. If you have skinny legs, stay true to size. They are AWESOME!
